Pediatricians in Yakima
Pediatricians in Yakima have websites that are nearly impossible to find. In fact, when you search for “Yakima Pediatrics” or “Pediatrician in Yakima” What you find is a mishmash of websites, mostly designed to trick you into clicking on ads (Not that I’m complaining if you want to click on mine) But that doesn’t help you when you’re really looking. To make matters worse, it seems that none of them have verified their google map listing yet, either. This opens the door wide for web-hijacking sites to snag traffic that was intended for the pediatrician’s office.
Yakima Pediatric Associates is a well-known pediatric clinic in Yakima. Like I said, though, their website is almost impossible to find and once you find it, it’s not really that helpful. I wasn’t able to find their site on a google, yahoo or Bing search. In fact, I had to call them and ask what it was. Their site gives you the hours and location of the office and biographies of the doctors.

Children’s Village isn’t really a normal pediatrician’s office. It’s geared toward children with special conditions. They don’t do well child visits, but they do early childhood intervention screenings. If your child has autism, cleft palate, fetal alcohol syndrome, down’s syndrome, or other developmental issues, then Children’s Village may meet your needs, but for normal healthy children it’s overkill.

Dr Wilkinson has a reputation for excellence among Yakima’s more natural-minded families. Trained in Eastern and Western Medicine, Dr Wilkinson looks for the cause of any situation, rather than just treating the symptoms. He embraces treatments that are natural or “alternative” based upon science and research, rather than on the political affiliations of his professional associations. He also writes a great newsletter for his clients, to educate them on common ailments and symptoms. Many people end up in his office looking for a second opinion but discover a better way of treating their kids. Dr Wilkinson works on bodies of all ages, not just children.

Alternatives to Pediatricians in Yakima
General Practitioners and Family Doctors are a great alternative for families who want to avoid a pediatrician. Many people believe that since pediatricians are trained to diagnose and treat children with severe illnesses, that their child is just a diagnosis waiting to happen. A General practitioner or family doctor makes a fine alternative, with the added bonus being that the entire family can be seen in one location. Additionally, the waiting area won’t be crawling with snot. Yakima Family Medicine is one such office, where everyone from infants to the elderly are seen.

Yakima Pediatrician Reviews
Check the links here, for reviews of Yakima Pediatricians. The internet is a fantastic place to find unsolicited reviews from everyday people. True, one bad review can be a fluke, or the result of someone who is angry (for whatever reason) with the Doctor, but several bad reviews is nothing to sneeze at.
You may find ads here for Physicianreports.com, ratemds.com (which has a very easy interface) and vitals.com, bookofdoctors.com or any other website which catalogs and hosts a database of doctors and their patient’s reports.
